Bernard Lapointe, P.geo., Ph.D.

Bernard Lapointe has extensive business experience, having spent more than 35 years in the resource sector in exploration and project development. He founded Arianne Resources in 1997 and headed the company until 2013 that became Arianne Phosphate. Mr. Lapointe contributed to the discovery and development of the Lac à Paul project located in Quebec, one of the largest phosphate projects in the world. Mr. Lapointe is now a semi-retired geologist, consultant and private investor. He sits on several technical and strategic committees of public and private exploration companies and is a lecturer of exploration funding at the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi. He holds a B.A. in Geology (Montreal) from a Master’s degree in Structural Geology(Chicoutimi) and a Ph.D. in mineral resources of the Université du Québec (Chicoutimi).


Gilles Laverdière, P.geo.

Consulting Geologist

Gilles Laverdiere is a consulting geologist to exploration mining companies, since 2013. From 2011 to 2013, he was senior consulting geologist for Merrex Gold Inc. where he was in charge in developing a gold project in Mali within a joint-venture with Iamgold Inc. From 2006 to 2010, he was a consulting geologist in charge of planning and supervising drilling projects in Northwestern Quebec and writing 43-101 geological reports. From 1998 to 2006, he was CEO of HMZ Metals Inc. where he acquired mining assets in China and listed the Company through an IPO on the TSX. From 1985 to 1997, he has been part of senior management and on the Board of many public mining companies where he evaluated mining prospects, negotiated and structured financing for various mining companies in Canada, the Philippines, Brazil, Nevada. From 1978 to 1984, he was a geologist with a focus on gold exploration in Northwestern Quebec.


Michael Côté Gagnon

Michael Côté Gagnon is a specialist in the management and acquisition of companies. Over the past 20 years, he has carried out numerous mergers and acquisitions in addition to coordinating the management of a portfolio of companies in the human resources sector. Mr. Côté Gagnon holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Laval University.

Jonathan Hamel sat on the Board of Directors at Vanstar Mining Resources (TSX.V: VSR) from 2018 to 2021, he’s acting as Secretary of the Board since 2020 and acted as Interim President and CEO during management transition. Mr Hamel is also President and CEO of Mosaic Minerals Corporation (CSE:MOC), an exploration stage company focusing on Battery Metals in Québec and British Columbia. In addition to his 20 years of management experience that has taken him around the world, Mr. Hamel sat on the Board of Directors at the Montreal Economic Institute, a globally recognized independent public policy think tank focused on proposing reforms based on market principles and entrepreneurship and acted as Guest Lecturer at École des dirigeants – HEC Montréal. Mr Hamel served on the Financial Innovation Committee of L’Autorité des Marchés Financiers (Québec) from January 2017 to December 2020.


Dennis Marsden

Dennis Marsden has 25 years of experience in retail and business banking. He is the Principal of True North Business Consultation, a company that specializes in business connectivity and government relations and President of Clean Air Organics. He is a sitting Councillor at the City of Coquitlam located in the Metro Vancouver Area (British Columbia, Canada). He was on the Board of Governors and President of the Tri Cities Chamber of Commerce, Board Member at the BC Chamber of Commerce, Board Member and Treasurer at the Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation. A dedicated volunteer in his community, he is coaching and managing teams at Coquitlam Metro Ford Soccer, Coquitlam Little League and Coquitlam Minor Hockey. He is also a certified BC Amateur Hockey Referee and Instructor in Officiating program.
